‘The Old End’ is a two bedroom character cottage believed to be one of the oldest houses in Sheldon. It has many original features, sympathetically restored but with modern amenities including under-floor heating and a log burning stove.
It has off-road parking for two cars and its own garden with views towards the village and surrounding countryside.
Due to the age and character of the building we can not accept very young children. Please contact us regarding pets before booking as we have a few house rules, thank you.
You will enter the hallway, which has room for coats and muddy boots, this then leads into the cosy beamed sitting room with log burner, through which is accessed (by steps) a beamed dining room with original features, a downstairs WC and follows (steps) through to a light and airy kitchen / informal dining area. Up the stairs you will find on the left a spacious double bedroom with beams and original wattle and daub wall, accessed through a low character doorway. To the right is a twin room with a high ceiling with views over the garden, and a compact family bathroom with bath and shower.‘The Old End’ benefits from under-floor heating downstairs and central heating upstairs
There are also a few books/games/DVDs etc. available to utilise during your stay.
